A 3-week sewing class where you’ll learn the basics of sewing while creating your very own kimono from start to finish, including dyeing the fabric! You'll join us for three Sundays in a row to work on your project and grow your skills.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll be guided by Selah, a local tailor and educator with over 20 years of experience sewing. She will walk you through every step, from how to use a machine, how to master essential techniques like sewing a straight line and stitching your custom-made garment, the basics of gorgeous tie-dye, and more.
Whether you're new to sewing or looking to build your skills, this class is perfect for all levels. By the end, you'll walk away with a beautiful, one-of-a-kind kimono and the confidence to tackle future sewing projects!
Sewing machines, all required materials, and tools will be provided.
