Learn to Sew: Visible Mending | 08/10
In this hands on workshop, we will be learning to visibly mend our clothes using the traditional art of Sashiko!
Sashiko is a traditional Japanese form of embroidery, characterized by a simple running stitch used to create decorative and functional patterns on fabric. It's known for its geometric designs and is used for both embellishing, reinforcing and repairing clothing and textiles. Selah from Revival Sewing Co will walk you through all the tips, tricks and essential steps to master this new skill.
You’ll leave with a new talent and a Sashiko kit of your own to continue your mending journey!
All materials and tools will be supplied, but bring 1-5 pieces of clothing that need mending!
