Botanical Print Silk Scarf Dying with Timberline Flower Farm | 05/18

Botanical Print Silk Scarf Dying with Timberline Flower Farm | 05/18

Join us to dye your own silk scarf using flowers and leaves! Kim from Timberline Flower Farm has been printing scarves in silk, wool and linen for a few years now, and she'll share her expertice to help you create something beautiful.

Kim will walk you through laying out flowers and leaves to make your very own unique creation for yourself or as a gift. The silk will be pretreated, and ready for you to start arranging botanicals to create a gorgous pattern. We will have some dye blankets available if you want to add to the base color, or you can keep a natural cream.

All the materials, including botanicals, will be included, but if you have leaves or flowers you would like to bring along feel free! Even old wilted flowers can make a good impression.

The workshop will take about 2 hours total but you will have time in between designing and rolling to help others or go grab a snack. When we return everyone can unroll their scarves and show them off.

Please dress in yard work clothes and comfortable shoes!
