Brewing the Perfect Cup with Coffeebar | 03/16
Good coffee should be enjoyed anywhere, and that includes in the comfort of your own home. We'll be joined by Matt Brown, Coffeebar's Senior Manager of Coffee Operations, who will teach you the tips and tricks for making cafe-quality coffee in your space.
You'll learn how the different variables that go into coffee-brewing can effect the final cup, and how to adjust your technique to get the perfect result. Our instructor will also demonstrate the best practices for various brewing equipment, including french press, steep and release brewers, and pourover.
You'll leave the class with a wealth of coffee knowledge, and a 12oz bag of locally-roasted Coffeebar beans for you to enjoy with your new skills.

Matt started in coffee in 2002 and has worked with some of the best specialty coffee roasters in Sydney Australia. His focus and passion lie in research and education where he ran two internationally recognized and certified coffee schools over a thirteen-year period. He was also the education manager for the Coffee Science and Education Center in Sydney’s northern Beaches working under Dr. Adam Carr PhD Chemical Engineer, where he created best practices around the studies the department ran with local universities.
After moving to the US in 2019, he’s focused on building wholesale programs for specialty coffee roasters and now finds himself running the coffee department for the locally loved Coffeebar.
