Hand Painted Tote Bags with Mozy Studios | 07/20

Paint your own tote bag for your next farmers market or give as a gift for a special someone! In this workshop, we will hand paint a gradation of trees on a cotton tote bag using acrylic paints and fabric mediums. Jinny Tomozy will guide you through a step-by step process exploring color mixing, value transitions, analogous and complementary color schemes.

 
The class will start with a brief discussion about color schemes and value gradations. We will premix and test all color mixtures to ensure a smooth gradation of hues and good paint consistency. Each student will receive a cotton tote bag to paint and take home.

Paint, mediums, brushes, and palette will be provided for use in the workshop, so just bring your creative self!

We recommend wearing clothing that can get paint on it, just in case of any accidents.
