Seed to Cup: A Guided Coffee Tasting with Coffeebar | 03/23

Are you a coffee lover looking to deepen your knowledge and understanding? Join us for a guided tasting hosted by local cafe and coffee roaster, Coffeebar.

Matt Brown, the Senior Manager of Coffee Operations, will walk you through the coffee supply chain from seed to cup, and host a tasting of various coffee origins and roast degrees. This will give you better insight and education into what creates different flavors in coffees, and how you can find the perfect fit for your own tastes.

You'll leave the class with a wealth of coffee knowledge, and a 6oz bag of locally-roasted Coffeebar beans for you to enjoy.

YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Matt Brown - Senior Manager of Coffee Operations. 

Matt started in coffee in 2002 and has worked with some of the best specialty coffee roasters in Sydney Australia. His focus and passion lie in research and education where he ran two internationally recognized and certified coffee schools over a thirteen-year period. He was also the education manager for the Coffee Science and Education Center in Sydney’s northern Beaches working under Dr. Adam Carr PhD Chemical Engineer, where he created best practices around the studies the department ran with local universities. 

After moving to the US in 2019, he’s focused on building wholesale programs for specialty coffee roasters and now finds himself running the coffee department for the locally loved Coffeebar.
